How to add icons to the start screen in Windows 8

1. Click the Win logo button on your keyboard and the start screen appears. See the figure below:

2. Move the mouse pointer to the lower right corner of the desktop and the zoom icon appears. Take the following picture:

3. After the mouse pointer is moved to the zoom icon, the search option will appear on the left border. See the picture below:

4. After clicking the search icon, the application icon appears. See the following figure:

5. Right click on the icon to be added by the mouse, and the bottom border will appear “Fix to the start screen” option. See the figure below:

6. In the start menu, you can see that the icon has been added successfully. See the picture below:
