Tips for setting the maximum number of rows in porcelain in the Windows 8 start screen

Everyone knows that by default, Win 8 displays the number of lines in the start screen with the screen resolution automatically adjusted. The figure below shows 4 lines by default.

So we want to limit the maximum number of rows displayed in porcelain, set the maximum number of rows to 2, how to set it?
1) Use Win+R shortcut, pop-up execution, enter regedit, Enter;

2) Pop up the registry editor, find HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionImmersiveShellGrid in the left window, then right click on the right side of the window and select New, DWORD (32) value.

3) Named Layout_MaximumRowCount.

4) Double-click the pop-up edit page, select decimal in the cardinality, enter the maximum number of rows you want in the numeric data, for example 2 rows, and finally press OK.

5) After logging out and re-login, we can see that the porcelain sticker in the start screen has become 2 lines.

Note: The minimum number of display lines in the start interface is 1 line (even if the value of the registry is set to 0), the maximum number of lines displayed in 1366*768 resolution is 4 lines (even if the registry is used) The value is set to 6).
