Microsoft: Windows 8 UEFI will not block other operating systems

Microsoft's Windows 8 blog post today responded to previous industry concerns about Windows 8's UEFI boot interface security settings, which Red Hat developers have said before. The new Windows 8 interface may prevent the startup of non-Windows systems. Microsoft said that the system is mainly used to prevent unauthorized access to the boot code, and the firmware update provided by the original equipment manufacturer is the key to the safe boot decision. The system actually allows the user from the beginning. Disable the secure boot feature so there is no ability to block other systems.
