Will Windows 8 be able to run evidence of WP apps?

According to foreign media reports, someone on the MyDigitalLife forum has "disassembled" the Windows 8 RP system that was just launched, and found some interesting code in the mscorlib.dll file:

From the screenshot above, we can see that in the Windows 8 RP system code, Microsoft used the "IsAppEarlierThanWindowsPhone8" rd"; Compatibility Switch. This means that Windows 8 systems will likely be compatible with some WP applications.

Of course, this code alone is not completely certain that Windows 8 systems will be compatible with WP applications, as this code may also be able to share code on behalf of both systems. There have been rumors that WP8 will adopt the Windows 8 kernel, but the news has not been confirmed yet.
