(1)Installing the system

The whole installation process and WIN7 are not much different, I feel that the WIN8 package still uses WIN7. However, the startup screen has changed, and it feels very simple and generous.

Hard disk installation: Then find another machine, extract the downloaded ISO file to the D disk, install it through the hard disk, the speed is much faster.

Share the following steps:

First, prepare to extract Windows8 to a folder under a hard disk

For example: Windows8 folder in E disk (e :\\Windows8)

Now I have started to install the system. Please read it in detail, prepare it above, restart the system, press F8 to boot--repair the computer, wait a while, the system loads, you can enter after entering See the command window, open the window is the same window as DOS

Enter the Windows8 road you just unzipped in the window

Finally, when the WIN8 start configuration information, you will be prompted to choose to log in to WINDOWS LIVE. If you can network friends, you can try to log in to this mode. This is a bit of a benefit. Simply put, it's a bit like the current browser, such as the Sogou browser's sync favorites. When you reinstall the system or change the machine, your favorites can be retrieved through synchronization. WIN8's LIVE mode login will also remember some of your operations, such as desktop wallpaper, some degree of settings. Still quite good, recommend everyone to use.

(2) Driver installation

In fact, the driver that comes with WIN8 is very new. I use the driver update found by the driver wizard. Look carefully at the version number that has not been provided by WIN8. . So if the important drivers are all driven, there is no need to install them.

To some friends, the sound card, graphics card can not drive, you can try WIN8's own UPDATE, my sound card driver and touchpad driver will be updated through UPDATE.

Important: If the machine is an A card, pay attention when updating the driver. Do not install the ATI console, just install the driver. Because WIN8 can't install the .NET that the console needs, I installed it for the first time, and the result is an error every time I turn it on.

(3) Some tips for using WIN8

1. Shut down and restart, friends can use: WIN button + i button, then the shutdown icon appears on the right side of the screen.

2, the new Metro interface is gorgeous, but many friends can not find settings. Right click in the program, the relevant settings will pop up below.

3, many friends said that the weather forecast in Metro will report an error, I found that if you have been plugged into the network during the process of installing WIN8, you will not report an error. Or just adjust the Celsius, put the mouse in the lower left corner of the screen, and select the settings in the pop-up menu. Also, if you want to add a city, you must enter it in full spell. There is also a right click, the rightmost button can also choose to display by date or by the hour, very useful features!

4, this input method is very annoying, toss for a long time. However, the pinyin that comes with WIN8 is quite good, I recommend everyone to use it. But you need to install it manually, open the input method settings, and click Add in the upper left corner. There is also a switch input method, changed to: WIN + space. It seems that WIN8 began to pay attention to the WIN button that has been obscured. Everyone can do everything with the WIN key + 26 letters. It is impossible to find new features!

5. Quickly switch between windows: Place the mouse on the far left of the screen and click the left button.

6, the boot picture and user LOGO can also be changed, click on the Metro interface to set up.

7, IE10 in Metro, I like it very much, full screen feels good. If you want to close or add a window, right click on the top button and it will pop up.

8. In the days of using IE 10, it crashed many times. If friends also come across, you can go to the control panel - Internet Options & mdash; Advanced & mdash; click Reset, IE10 will return to normal.

(4) Application Software Compatibility Test

Can't use software:

Sogou browser (BUG in corner display, crash when switching high speed)

Sogou input method (cannot be displayed in Metro IE10)< Br>

WPS (runs unstable, crashes when IE is associated)

Cool music box (black screen in the upper right corner cannot be displayed)

I used 360 antivirus and Kingsoft Internet Security, though Can be installed, but some of the options can not be, so it is recommended that you use their own Microsoft MSE bar

QQ game lobby (game list can not be brushed out).

QQ2011 (group chat and other features sometimes crash)

I also encountered stuck in the installation of Fetion and QQ, but restarted the computer again, and then installed it is OK!
