How to change to UEFI boot

after Windows8 system installation <1> First, we first install Ghost Win8 system, here we have installed it;

2, then we have to set the boot mode in the motherboard BIOS For UEFI, there is no detailed description of each motherboard setup step, but the key UEFI startup is similar. At this time, the hard disk can no longer be booted, and then use a PE that supports UEFI boot to enter the PE system (the latest computer store, Chinese cabbage, old peaches are supported)

3, enter the PE, format the boot partition ( Is a small partition of 100MB or 350MB. If not, do not format, on the hard disk to find a way to separate a 100MB FAT32 partition), be sure to choose FAT32 file system.

4, change the label, easy to identify (can be skipped)

5, after formatting is complete, open a command prompt, type the command: bcdboot D: Windows /s C: /l zh-CN /f ALL

This will fix the EFI boot partition. In fact, this also fixes the BIOS boot. If you change the BIOS boot, you can still boot successfully. This step is to copy the boot to the 100M hidden boot partition.

Note: In the above code, D is the partition where the system file is located (that is, the partition where Windows, Program Files, etc. are located), and C is the FAT32 partition. You must enter the corresponding drive letter according to your actual situation, otherwise it is It will go wrong.

6. The boot partition has been successfully repaired.

7, you can see that the boot file has been fixed.

8, view BCD, already good.

9, restart, can already be guided.

After setting the above steps, the user can change the Win8 system that was started in the original BIOS mode to UEFI mode, and then the Win8 system will start in UEFI mode.
