How to clean up the Win8 tile cache

Windows 8 has added the Tile tile to the Metro module, and the tile will display some bound personal information, such as email messages, by default on the Metro homepage. Sometimes these tile caches are easy to leak user privacy information, so it is generally recommended to clean up when shutting down. Today, PepsiCo Xiaobian brings you a way to automatically clean up the Win8 tile cache, which is very convenient without manual operation.

First, open a command prompt, type "lded;.gpedit.msc" and press Enter.

Second, expand the left side of the "User Configuration > Management Templates > Start Menu and Taskbar", find "Clear tile notifications and history when exiting the system" and double-click to open.

Third, select “ Enabled”, close the window after confirming.

After turning off the computer, the tile cache will be automatically cleared. After the next boot, you can see the tile displayed on the Metro interface, as shown in the figure.
