Win8 PE personalized modification tutorial

We often use the PE system in our installation system. Today we will introduce how to modify the PE to make it personalized, such as changing the information in the computer properties to what we want. Today, Windows 8 PE is taken as an example to introduce specific modification methods.

Required software: 1.Windows 8 PE; 2.WimTool; 3.ResHacker; 4.UltraISO.

Operation Tutorial (Run the software as an administrator!)

1.Use WimTool“mount image”——boot.wim file (in the PE image boot directory)< Br>

2. Under ““mount directory”, modify it.

1) Modify “Property Information”: Use ResHacker to modify SYSTEMCPL.DLL.MUI (mount directory WindowsSystem32zh-CN)

2) Modify “Property Information”:Modify&ldquo ; Mount the directory WindowsSystem32pecmd.ini”, add the following command.

3) Modify “ attribute information & rdquo;: modify & ldquo; mount directory WindowsSystem32configSOFTWARE & rdquo;.

First, copy the LOGO.BMP image to the "mount directory" WindowsSystem32oobeinfo”

Then, run “regedit”, click File - Load Hive - Any Name (eg 123) - Amend as follows:

"Logo"="%windir%System32oobeinfoLOGO.BMP"

Finally, unload the hive.

4) Add green software on the desktop: Modify the directory directory Program FilesTOOLS.INI” according to the corresponding format.

3. Uninstall the image.

4. Export (the purpose is to reduce the volume): After the boot2.wim is named boot.wim—— is the final required file.

5. After opening the PE image with UltraISO, replace the boot.wim source file.
