How to use the traditional input method of Win8.1 system?

Since the input method has changed in the Win8.1 system, the main purpose of this article is to explain how to use the Pinyin input method to output Traditional Chinese in the Traditional Chinese environment.

There are two ways to use the Pinyin input method to play Traditional Chinese:

1. Modify the keyboard input method of the Zhuyin input method, but this method is only applicable to the traditional desktop environment.

2. Modify the character set of the Simplified Pinyin input method to output the traditional Chinese character set.

First: Modify the phonetic input method settings

Remind everyone, this method can only be used in the traditional desktop environment, but it has three pinyin options to choose from, if you want to use specific The input method of Pinyin can be set by this method.

1. First open [Console], then click [Change Input Method] under [Clock, Language and Area].

2. Click [Options] next to [Chinese (Taiwan)]

3. Click [Options] next to [Microsoft Phonetic]

4. Then [Microsoft Phonetic Settings] In the window, click the [Keyboard] tab, then you will see a drop-down window corresponding to the keyboard below. After clicking it, you will see a variety of keyboard configurations to choose from. Among them, there are three different pinyin methods: [Chinese Pinyin], [Guo Yin Er], and [General Pinyin].

After selecting the keyboard corresponding method you want to use, click [OK].

Then you can use the phonetic input method as a pinyin input method.

Second: Modify Simplified Pinyin Input Method Settings

In addition to modifying the settings of the Zhuyin input method, you can also modify the settings of Pinyin input method in Simplified Chinese. Let it turn into traditional Chinese. And this method can be used not only in the traditional desktop, but also in the APP mode.

But in Windows 8.1, we can find that the [options] of some input methods have disappeared, so how do you modify these input method settings?

The settings can be modified, but only must be set in the console of the APP mode.

According to the information on the Internet, these input methods are only limited by Microsoft's manpower, so this version of the input method temporarily removes the option to update Windows in the future. In the version, these things will still come back. Of course, this is just the news that I saw on the Internet. It’s not known whether it’s correct or not.

1. First open the [Common Toolbar] on the right, then click [Settings].

2. Then click [Change PC Settings]

3. After opening [Computer Settings], click [Time and Language] on the left

4 Then click on the [Region and Language] on the left.

5. Next we will add the Simplified Chinese language. If you have already added it, you can skip this paragraph and skip to the first page. 8 steps.

Please click [Add Language] under [Language] on the right.

6. Click [Chinese (Simplified)]

7. Then click [Chinese (People's Republic of China)] or [Chinese (Singapore)], you will have pinyin input. The law can be used.

8. After you have selected the country, you will jump back to the regional and language screens. Please click on the newly added country. Then you will see three buttons pop up below, please click [Options].

9. Then you will see a [Microsoft Pinyin] below, and then click [Microsoft Pinyin], after the two buttons will pop up. Please click [Options]. Incidentally, since there is only one input method left, you will see that the [Remove] button is gray and cannot be pressed.

10. After opening [Options], you will see some setting items that can be modified by [Microsoft Pinyin], so the input method is not disappeared, but it is changed to this side. set. Pull the screen to the bottom, you can see that there is a [character set] below, and change the drop-down menu of [Selected Character Set] below to [Traditional Chinese].

11. After changing this step, no action is required and the settings will take effect immediately. The actual test is indeed normal in both the traditional desktop mode and the APP mode.

As can be seen from this example, although the input method in the desktop mode has no [options] available for setting, it can still be done in the APP mode console (computer setting), not true. The disappearance. In addition to improving some shortcomings, Windows 8.1 further enhances the touch experience and makes the items that can be set in [Computer Settings] more perfect (although it may suffer from desktop users' criticism …). So if you have any settings in Windows 8.1 that you can't find, don't forget to check out the [Computer Settings] in the APP mode. Maybe some of the settings or features you want to do are hidden here. .
