"Easy to use" button for Win8.1/RT 8.1

There are several ways to set up your computer to make it easier to access. Everyone works differently, and we have a number of settings that can be changed so that you can use your computer the way you want.

In the PC settings, you can use the most commonly used accessibility options. To use these options, swipe in from the right edge of the screen and click “Set> (or if you are using a mouse, point to the lower right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer up, and click “Set&rdquo ;), then click or click “change computer settings”,“easily use”.

Some of the most commonly used accessibility options are also available in the login screen. Click the "Easy to use" button in the lower left corner and select the desired computer feature or setting. These features or settings are available each time you start your computer.

You can also use accessibility settings from your desktop. To do this, press the Windows logo key + U.

Easily view content on the screen

To easily view the screen, you can change some common settings under "Easy to use".

Magnifying Glass> This tool zooms in on some or all of the content on the screen so you can see the text and images more clearly.

“High Contrast> High contrast can be enabled if the color contrast is too low and the screen text is difficult to read due to the higher color contrast.

“Other options" Here you can turn off animations in Windows, adjust cursor thickness and make other choices to customize the visual experience.

You can also change the size of apps, text, and other items on the screen:

Swipe in from the right edge of the screen and click “Settings”. (If you are using a mouse, point to the lower right corner of the screen, then move the mouse pointer up and click “Set”.)

Click or click “Computers & Devices”, then click Or click “display”.

Make a selection under "Change the size of the app, text, and other items on the screen (only for displays that support this feature)".

You can also change “Start”Screen tile size:

Swipe in from the right edge of the screen and click “Settings”. (If you are using a mouse, point to the lower right corner of the screen, then move the mouse pointer up and click “Set”.)

Click or click “ Tiles”, then at &ldquo ;Show more tiles” move the slider down.

Using a computer without a monitor

When using "narrator", you can interact with a computer without a monitor by listening to the audio descriptions of the text, buttons, and videos on the screen. .

Making the mouse easier to use

Click or click “mouse” and select the option you want to use:

Change the color and size of the mouse pointer. You can use these options to make the mouse pointer bigger or change the color of the pointer to make it more visible.

“Enable the mouse button. ” If you are not comfortable using the mouse, you can enable the mouse button so that you don't need to use the mouse. You can use the numeric keypad or arrow keys on your keyboard to move the pointer instead.

Making typing easier

There are a few different ways to make keyboard usage easier. Using keyboard shortcuts is very convenient and fast. If you have a touch screen computer, you can type without an external keyboard. Another way to customize the experience is through keyboard settings.

Click or click “keyboard” and select the option you want to use:

“On-screen keyboard” If you prefer to use a computer without a keyboard, try using the on-screen keyboard This tool allows you to enter text by selecting characters on the screen.

After the sticky key is enabled, you will no longer need to press the complex key combination. For example, instead of pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del at the same time, you can press a key at a time.

The toggle button emits a notification tone each time you press the Caps Lock, Num Lock, or Scroll Lock button. These notifications can help prevent accidental pressing of a key without being aware of the resulting error.

Filter Keys If the Filter key is enabled, Windows will ignore these keys when you press the same key quickly or inadvertently press various keys for a few seconds.

You can also use “Voice Recognition& rdquo; to dictate text or use voice commands to control your computer.
