Disable the lock screen function of Win8/Win8.1

In the new Win8/Win8.1 operating system, Microsoft added a Modern lock screen function. In the Modern lock screen interface, users can provide time, network connectivity status, battery and other information. Users who transition from Windows XP or Win7 to Win8/Win8.1 may not be comfortable with Modern Lock Screen. Each time you need to slide the Modern Lock Screen wallpaper to enter the unlock interface. 1. Use the shortcut key (Win+R), start the “Run” window, and then enter gpedit.msc to open the local group policy editor. Figure 2 Launch Local Group Policy Editor

2. Navigate to the following path: Personalize the computer configuration management template control panel, select the “Do not display lock screen” option on the right side;

3. Double-click the “Do not display lock screen” option, select ““ Enabled” option in the pop-up dialog box, then Click OK.

4. After locking the computer with the shortcut key Win+L, you will find that the default lock screen wallpaper function used by default has been disabled, the system defaults Go directly to the login screen.

Of course, if you need to adjust the Modern lock screen wallpaper again, you can change it to “ldquo; disabled” by the above steps.
