Limited display after connecting to VPN under Windows 8

Symptom:

After using a VPN dial-up connection, the local network connection shows a restricted status.

Cause Analysis:

After dialing to a remote server, all local connection requests are relayed through the VPN server to interact with the outside world.

Solution:

Need to follow the steps below: Right click on the VPN connection and select “View Connection Properties” as shown below:

in “ VPN connection properties & rdquo; window selection & ldquo; network & rdquo; label, select “ IPv4 & rdquo;, then select “ attribute & rdquo;, as shown below:

select the lower right “ advanced & rdquo;:

"Use the default gateway on the remote network", cancel the previous check, and confirm:

Check the network status again, the connection is as follows:
