How to set up VPN connection for Win8.1/Win8

Preparation:

VPN account, for example IP: 199.36.77.106; User name: vpn123; Password: 239979

Test environment: Win8.1 32-bit or 64-bit system

Operation steps:

1. Go to the network and Internet in the control panel, select Network and Sharing Center

2. Set new Connection or network, choose to connect to the workspace

3. Select to use my Internet connection (VPN) function

4. Fill in the remote IP address of the VPN prepared by the user and create a new one. VPN connection

5. Wait for the new VPN to be created successfully

6. Set this VPN connection, right click on the properties and select the security page.

7. In the VPN type, select "Peer-to-Peer Tunneling Protocol (PPTP)" and select "Allow the use of these protocols" function, and finally confirm that it takes effect.

8. Enter your username and password and finally connect to the VPN.
