Win8.1 Change Public Network and Private Network Graphic Tutorial

Under Windows 8.1, it is no longer possible to select the network type like Windows 7 in the Network and Sharing Center, and it cannot be used like Windows 8 in the connection window. Right click to change, what should I do? As shown in the figure:

Operation steps:

First, please successfully connect to the network (wired/wireless) that needs to change the network type

1. Use the Win+I key to open the setup menu and select “Change computer settings” in the lower right corner. 2.

2. In the “Settings of computer settings”, select “<quo;network" on the left. ;;

3. Select the network that is connected and needs to be changed;

4. In the network settings that are open, find “Find devices and content>;

This option "open", the network type will change to "private network", if it is "off", the network type is "public network";

5. When “ Find devices and content "for“ Open ” reopen “Network and Sharing Center”.
