How to install Win8 telnet components?

Telnet is not installed by default in Window 8 system. It becomes an optional component. You can add this component by "Enable or disable Windows function".

Operation steps:

1. Press and hold the “Windows” and “X” keys on the system desktop to open the system menu and select “Control Panel”. See the image below

2. In the “Control Panel”, click on “View Mode” in the upper right corner and select “Large Icon” in the “Adjust Computer Settings” option. “Programs and Features”. See the image below

3. Under “Programs and Features”, click “Enable or disable Windows features” on the left side. See the following figure

4. In the pop-up menu, find “Telnet Server” and “Telnet Client” and tick the box in front of them and click “OK”. See the image below

5. It takes about tens of seconds to add and change the application. See the image below

6. Complete the changes and click “Close”. See the picture below
