Using the command to modify the Windows 8 system

After forgetting the Windows 8 system login password, most users will start the computer through Windows PE, and then modify it in Windows PE by using the login password tool. This method requires borrowing third-party tool software, which is difficult for non-technical personnel. To this end, here is another way to change the Windows 8 login password, which also achieves twice the result with half the effort.

The idea to solve this problem is to replace the magnifying glass "magnify.exe" with “cmd.exe” under System32. First, use Windows PE to start the computer system32 into the C:windows folder, magnify.exe and cmd.exe to change the security settings of the file, change the "owner" in the security settings to administrators, and then magnify.exe and The "privilege" of the cmd.exe file is changed to full control. Finally, change magnify.exe to magnify1.exe and cmd.exe to magnify.exe.

After restarting the computer, click the gear icon in the lower left corner of the login interface to enable the magnifying glass. The cmd command prompt is actually enabled. Enter the command:

Net user administrator /active:yes //Activate the account

Net user administrator 12345678 //Change the password to 12345678

After the password is modified, restart the computer again. Change magnify.exe to cmd.exe and magnify1.exe to magnify.exe. At this point, the Windows8 system login password is changed.
