Win8 System Create/Delete/Format Partition

1. Move the mouse to the lower right of the screen in the Win8 system and click “Set" on the pop-up menu.

2. Click on the “Control Panel” item on the menu to open the “Control Panel” window.

3. In the "Control Panel" window, select the "System & Security" option.

4. Click on "Create and Format Hard Disk Partition" in the "System & Security" window to open “Disk Management”.

5. Right-click in the blank space of the “Disk Management” window and select “New Simple Volume”.

6. Go to “New Simple Volume Wizard", <;Next” Continue.

7, here you need to manually enter the partition size (MB)

8, select the drive letter or path (usually NTFS format, because of security).

9. Choose whether you want to format the partition.

10, click Finish, complete the creation of the partition.

11, return to the "Disk Management" window, right click on the partition to be formatted, select "Format" & rdquo;.

12, open the "Format" window, set the file system and other settings for the partition to be formatted, click OK.

13. A warning prompt pops up, click OK to format the partition.

14, return & ldquo; disk management window & rdquo; right click on the partition to be deleted, select “ delete volume & rdquo;.

15. A warning message pops up, click OK to delete the partition.
