Steps for pre-installing Win8 to modify Win7

Step 1: Change BOOT mode to legacy boot mode

V, B, K, E, M series: such as V480, V580, B480, B580, B490 , B590, K29, K49, E49, M490, M495

Y, U, Z, S, G series models: such as Y400, Y500, Y480, Y580, S206, S300, S400, S405, Z380, Z480, Z485, U310, U410, U510 , G480, G580, G780, G485, P580, N580, etc.

Step 2: Install the system

Possible problems:

1. The installer cannot be partitioned or partitioned Can't click next to install

2. It can be installed in normal partition, but it will crash in windows logo when windows starts.

3. Prompt disk function error

Must be original All partitions are deleted and re-created, so the installer will automatically change the hard disk from GPT to MBR

Please remind the user Will cause all data on the hard disk to be emptied, including one-click recovery will also be cleared

As shown below: Select the partition in turn, and then click Delete, delete all partitions and create a new reinstall

After the operation, it still cannot be installed normally. Please follow the following steps:

1. Boot using Win7 CD or U disk to enter the system installation interface;

2. Press Shift+F10 on the installation interface. In the command prompt window, type: diskpart carriage return;

3. Enter select disk 0 Enter;

4. Enter clean carriage return;

5. Enter convert mbr Enter;

6. Re-partition and install after restarting the computer.
