Specific steps to use automatic system failure recovery

The operating system has been in use for a long time, and it is inevitable that there will be such a failure. What are you thinking about in the first place? Is it reloading? In fact, we can also use Some other methods to restore the operating system, that is, use automatic system failure recovery. So, how to use automatic system failure recovery?

To use "automatic system failure recovery" (ASR) slave system failure To recover, perform the following steps:

Before you begin the recovery process, make sure you have the following items at hand:

The ASR floppy disk you created earlier.

Backup media you created previously.

The original operating system installation CD.

If you have a mass storage controller and you know that the manufacturer has provided it with a separate driver file (this driver file is different from the driver file provided on the installation CD), you have to start Obtain the file (on a floppy disk) before this process.

Insert the original operating system installation CD into your CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive.

Restart your computer. If you are prompted to press a key to start your computer from the disc, press the appropriate button.

If you have a separate driver file as described in step 1, press F6 when prompted to use the driver as part of the installation.

When the system prompts you at the beginning of the installed plain text mode, press the F2 key.

You will be prompted to insert the previously created ASR floppy disk.

Follow the instructions on the screen.

If all the nodes in the server cluster you are restoring fail and you cannot restore the quorum disk from the backup, use the ASR on each node in the original cluster to restore the disk signature and the partition layout of the cluster disk ( Arbitration and non-arbitration).
