How to set access permissions for Win2003 application

Since the Win2003 system is a server operating system, we always worry that other people can launch the application at will, which causes unnecessary trouble. In fact, we don't have to worry about it. For this problem, we can set access rights to restrict others from calling our computer's application.

In fact, you only need to set up using the Group Policy Editor to achieve restricted access. How do I open the Use Group Editor? We can do this:

First: Open “Start”Menu →“Run”,

Second: In "Run” Conversation Type the “gpedit.msc” command in the box and press Enter to open the “Group Policy Editor” window.

Then: open the "Group Policy Console & Rarr; User Configuration & Rarr; Management Template & Rarr; System" in the "Run only the licensed Windows application" and enable this policy (Figure 1

Finally: Click on the “Allowed Apps List” button below to bring up a “Show Content” dialog box, click here “Add” Button to add an application that is allowed to run (Figure 2).

The above simple 4 steps can easily set the access rights of the application. Those who do not have permission in the future can only run to the program in the list of allowed applications, which can not be started at will. Our other programs are gone.
