To delete this folder, you must first turn off the system restore function, as shown in the figure: open the start menu, find the run button, and then open run. Or press win+r to open the run dialog.

Enter gpedit.msc in the Run window and press Enter to open the Group Policy Manager.

In the Group Policy Manager, navigate to Computer
Configuration & Rarr; Administrative Templates & Rarr; System & Rarr; System Restore

In the right interface, You can see that there is an option to [Close System Restore], we double click it to open the settings dialog.


In the dialog that opens, check [Enabled] and then click OK to close the dialog.

Then in the Group Policy Manager, navigate to Computer Configuration & Rarr; Manage Templates & Rarr; Windows Components & Rarr; Windows Installer.

In the interface on the right, find [Close Create System Restore Checkpoint] and double-click to open it.


In the dialog that opens, check [Enabled] and click OK to exit the dialog.

Open the Run window in the Start menu, or press win+r to open, type cmd, and then click OK to open the command window.

Enter the following code in the command: cacls “c:\\\\System Volume Information” /g everyone:f . Then click the Enter button to complete the deletion.
