Win10 system how to set management file encryption certificate

  
 

1. Right-click [Start] in the lower left corner of the system desktop, click [Control Panel] in the Start menu;

2. In the open control panel window, click View Mode - Small Triangle in the Category Bar. In the drop-down menu, select [small icon (S)] to open all control panels;

3. In all control panel windows, we left-click [User Account];

4. In the user account window, click [Manage File Encryption Certificate] on the left side of the window to open the encrypted file system;

5. In the Encrypted File System window, read the displayed content first, then click: Next (N );

6. Now open the encrypted file system - select or create the file encryption certificate window, in the certificate details (D) column prompt: your computer does not currently have a file encryption certificate, please create a new Certificate..., we create a new certificate (C) by default, click: Next (N);





7 In the Encrypt File System - Create Certificate window, we generate a new self-signed certificate by default and store it in my calculations. Onboard (C), click: Next (N) to open a Save As window;
8. In the Save As window, we enter: certificate and key in the file name (N) field, then click: save (S);
9, after saving, open the encrypted file system - backup certificate and key window, display:
The current certificate is issued to: xyz75
Backup location: C:\\Users\\xyz75\\Documents\\ Certificate and Key
We enter the password in the Password (P) field, enter the same password again in the Confirm Password (M) field, click: Next (N);
(Note: Remember the key, otherwise 10, in the encrypted file system - update the previously encrypted file window, you can default: all logical drives, you can also click on the previous <;&&quoquo; number selection, then click: next (N);
11. At this point, the certificate and key have been backed up, you can see the certificate details, the operation is completed, click: Close.
