This "Automatically detect settings" is used for the LAN currently in use. There may be a server that automatically sends network configuration files and information to the network computer, and automatically opens the relevant network configuration when "Automatically detect settings" is turned on. Therefore, for LANs that frequently change settings and the server will issue these configuration changes, turning on “automatic detection settings  can save manual configuration time, which is convenient.

But many LAN configurations are actually relatively static. Generally, the settings are rarely changed. We can configure them once, without having to automatically get the configuration every time. Turning on “automatic detection settings” will automatically detect the auto-detection every time you open IE browser, there is no configuration change information, thus dragging the IE browser open speed.
