Operation steps

Make sure that it is under administrator privileges Run, find the “Command Prompt” in the Start menu, or type cmd to search quickly, right click on it, select “Run as administrator”, and click ““ in the pop-up user control window” ;


Enable and set the "Virtual Wifi NIC" mode

Enter in the cmd command line:

netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow Ssid=”Win7 AP WOW!” key=wifimima

Description of three parameters:

Mode: Whether to enable virtual Wifi NIC, disable to disallow, virtual NIC will disappear.

Ssid: Specify the name of the wireless network, preferably in English.

Key: Specify the password for the wireless network. This password is used for secure WPA2 encryption of the wireless network, which can effectively prevent the network from being hacked.


Enable “Internet Connection Sharing (ICS)”

In order to share the connected Internet of other computers or devices, we need to enable <;Internet Connection Sharing” Features. The specific step is to open the "Network Connections" window, right click on the network connection that is connected to the Internet, select "Attributes", switch to "Share", check the network connection that allows it to share the Internet, after confirming A shared NIC icon will appear next to the “Shared” flag, indicating that "Internet Connection Sharing" is opened to the virtual wireless network card.


Turn on the wireless network

Continue to run the following command at the command prompt:

netsh wlan start hostednetwork

We have set up a wireless network before (equivalent to turning on the wireless function of the router. Similarly, changing start to stop can turn off the wireless network).
