Safely add locks to Windows 7 system programs

Operation Steps

Press and hold the keyboard key combination “Win+R” to open the Run window and enter GPEDIT.msc.

Go to the Local Policy Group Editor, "Computer Configuration&>—“Windows Settings”—“Security Settings”—“Application Control Strategy ”.

In the "Application Control Strategy" “—“AppLocker”—“Script Rules", press the right mouse button “create a new script rule”, pop up Skip this step in the dialog box.

Select “Everyone” in "Users or Groups", click “Next”.

Select “Publisher”—“Next”.

Then visit the program you want to limit, and move the slider to the publisher “Next”.

Then, in the "Add Exception" “— select “Publisher" If you want to add multiple restrictions, click “Add”.

Finally click Create.
