Win10 KB3119142 patch is different: repeated installation four or five reciprocating cycles

The Microsoft Community Forum post confirms that the Windows KB3119142 patch will be installed repeatedly on the user's computer, and each time it is successfully installed. You can also see the Windows logs. The same updates are successfully installed several times a week. System patch update failures are common, but have you seen successful installations again and again?

Recently, Microsoft has pushed a Visual C++ 2012 update patch to Windows 10 users, called Update 4 Redistributable Package, and the knowledge base number is KB3119142.

A number of users responded in the official Microsoft community. After the patch was successfully installed for the first time, it actually appeared in Windows Update. The update was again successful. Checking the update history found that this guy was actually in the past. In at least 5 days, it will be repeated four or five times a day, so that it will cycle.

It’s even more bizarre that someone installed it successfully for the first time, but it’s never been installed.

“On January 13th, Windows Update showed that KB3119142 was successfully installed, but when it appeared again on January 15, the installation failed. There is no shadow in the installed update of the Control Panel. The Windows Update download has been stuck at 0%. ”

Microsoft has not yet responded to this and has not found a solution for the time being. If you encounter this problem, you can only hide it first.
