How to retain the original system software for the Windows 10 official version upgrade?

Windows10 ushered in an update today. However, due to Microsoft's diversion measures, most users did not get push updates in the first time, and related experience stickers were less, so I released my upgrade experience again for reference.

After experimentation,

1) The original KMS activated Windows 8.1 can be upgraded to genuine Windows 10, as shown below. (If pirated upgrade, it will be displayed as inactive)

2)Application software, system settings and files (including desktop files and private files in C drive) in Windows8.1 or Windows7, after upgrade Still, there is no need to worry about backup issues.

1, I believe that after you open the computer, the user who has subscribed to the Windows10 update has already started downloading a folder named “$Windows.~BT””. Some experiences will be posted. This folder is required to be copied to the D drive and installed, but the administrator will be required to copy the file. If the operation is not correct, the file will be lost, and the folder size of each computer will be different. It is difficult. To determine if it has been completely downloaded, it is recommended to use a more convenient method. You can try this method whether you have subscribed to an update or downloaded a folder.

2. Delete all files in the C:\\Windows\\SoftwareDistribution\\Download directory

3. Enter wuauclt.exe /updatenow in cmd administrator mode and press Enter to start running
>

4. Open “windows update in the control panel, you can see that windows10 is being downloaded, and then you can install it automatically after the download is completed. If this step finds that windows is installing other updates, you have Missing other patches, waiting for other patches to be successfully installed, restarting the computer, and then re-executing step 2.

Note:

1, the original KMS activated Windows 8.1 can be upgraded For genuine Windows 10, as shown below. (If the piracy upgrade, it will be displayed as inactive)

2, the application software, system settings and files in the original Windows8.1 or Windows7 (including desktop files and private files in the C drive), after the upgrade Still, there is no need to worry about backup issues.
