Win10 quasi-official version 10240 security update KB3074667: fix font driver security vulnerability

Microsoft has released security update KB3079904 for Win7/Win8.1 and Windows Server users to fix OpenType font-driven security vulnerabilities. At the same time, the Win10 official version 10240 also received the same security update patch KB3074667. Users using Build 10240 can download and install via Windows Update.

This patch is only pushed to the Win10 official version of the 10240 user. Users who have not upgraded to this version of Windows 10 will not receive this update. It is reported that KB3074667 fixes a font driver security vulnerability. The vulnerability is manifested in that once a user opens a particular document or browses an untrusted web page, the OpenType fonts contained in it may allow remote code execution and the intruder will gain full control.
