There have been rumors that Microsoft will sell Windows 10 via USB sticks for weeks, but the company has refused to publicly respond to Windows 10 physical installation media other than DVDs. Recently, however, users have found that the Windows 10 reservation page on the shopping site Amazon shows a U disk version. The page shows that the Home Edition Windows 10 is priced at $119.99 and the Professional Edition is priced at $199.99.

In response to media requests for comment, Microsoft did not specifically talk about Amazon's booking page, but for the first time confirmed that users will be able to install the system by purchasing a USB flash drive with Windows 10.

 Windows10 will also be sold through U disk. After the system is officially launched, users will be able to purchase the U disk in various retail channels. Microsoft spokesperson told VentureBeat The recommended retail in the United States is the same as Windows 8.1.

As seen above, the page shows the seller as Microsoft. Currently, in addition to Amazon, Microsoft Online Store, Best Buy or other online retailers have not yet appeared on the Windows 10 reservation page sold through the USB flash drive.

In addition, the page shows the release date of August 16. The official release date for Windows 10 is July 29, and Microsoft also said it will be upgraded in stages, but this does not explain why the release date of the Amazon page will be delayed. One possible scenario applies only to the Amazon channel, and another possibility is that only Windows 10 sold through a USB stick will be delayed.
