How to turn off the system to open IPv6 service under windows

IPv6 is the next generation Internet protocol, because the IPv4 protocol used now is not enough, so some people have developed IPv6 to ensure that the IP address is sufficient. But IPv6 is not yet popular, but the service is turned on by default in the system. So we can turn it off.

1. First, we enter the control panel of the computer. You can click on the “Settings>>&ld;“Control Panel” on the “charm bar”.

2. In the "Control Panel" window, find and click to enter "Network & Sharing Center".

3, I see here that my computer has two kinds of network connection, wifi and local connection, I use wifi connection. Then click “wlan”.

4. Enter the "WLAN status" window. Seeing that IPv6 is not used, it is the state of "no network access".

5. Click the <;Properties" button to enter the "WLAN Properties" window. IPv6 is the penultimate item and it is seen that IPv6 is also checked.

6. Cancel the check of IPv6 and click OK to close the IPv6 service.
