See if the running Windows process is 32-bit or 64-bit

  

Because 64-bit Windows provides full support for 32-bit applications, after installing 64-bit Windows, you may be wondering which of the running Windows programs are 32-bit and which are 64-bit. .

The method is very straightforward and can be seen in the task manager. The screenshot below is from Windows 7:


If the process name has *32 next to it, then The process is 32-bit, and vice versa. As shown, CCC.exe is a 64-bit process, and chrome.exe is a 32-bit process.

And in Windows 8, the task manager has a little bit of change:


As shown in the figure, there is a special column "platform", indicating that the process is 32 Bit is still 64 bit.
