What is the latest discovery of Win10? Start Menu Jump List Tutorial

Microsoft has previously stated that it will make drastic improvements to the Windows 10 Start Menu, and people are looking forward to the return of a powerful start menu. The user-familiar start menu jump list is back. The user can manually open the start menu jump list function by modifying the registry key.

The so-called Jump List can remember the list of items that the user has recently opened, helping users to quickly access the history. In the Start menu and taskbar, each program has a jumplist that helps users easily find recently used documents.

It's worth noting that the Windows 10 Jump List fully supports Windows 8.X and Windows 7 applications, which means programmers don't have to use special debugging to adapt their software to Windows 10.

Unfortunately, the current Windows 10 feature development work has not been finalized, so the jump list function is still unstable, and we are looking forward to seeing it in the official version of the operating system released this summer. Figure.

Modification method:

• Open the registry editor by running regedit with Win+R command

• NLE_CURRENT_USER\\Software\\ Microsoft\\Windows\\CurrentVersion\\Explorer\\Advanced

• Create a new Dword (32-bit) value

• Set the name to EnableXamlJumpView with a value of 1

• Restart the computer
