Windows 10 Build 10041: Manually open the Start Menu Jump List feature by modifying the registry key

When Microsoft officially announced Windows 10 in 2014, people are looking forward to a powerful start menu return. Now, there is good news coming, the user-familiar start menu jump list is back.

The foreign media found some mystery in the Windows 10 Build 10041 version released by Microsoft. Users can manually open the start menu jump list function by modifying the registry key.

It's worth noting that the Windows 10 Jump List fully supports Windows 8.X and Windows 7 applications, which means programmers don't have to use special debugging to adapt their software to Windows 10.

Unfortunately, the current Windows 10 feature development work has not been finalized, so the jump list function is still unstable, and we are looking forward to seeing it in the official version of the operating system released this summer. Figure.

Users who want to experience the jump list can activate this function as follows:

1, use the Win+R key combination to open the registry file <;REGEDIT.EXE”;

2, navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\Software\\Microsoft\\Windows\\CurrentVersion\\Explorer\\Advanced;

3, create a new “Dword (32-bit) value” and name it EnableXamlJumpView , set the value to 1;

4, the settings take effect after restarting the computer.
