How to delete non-empty directories under WinXP (a feasible special method)

  

People who use WinXP know that file management is the most basic operation. Almost no one will not delete the file directory, simply select the target, press del to achieve it, or use the right button to delete. However, we usually delete empty directories, empty directories are very easy to delete, rather than empty directories are more troublesome, usually need to use other methods to delete.

When you use WinXP to encounter non-empty directories, some system stubborn files, when you can't delete them with other software, you can try this command.

cmd

rd /s/q dirname

s means that the subdirectory is deleted. /q means no prompt.

With just one simple command like this, we can delete some stubborn non-empty directory files. This method is sometimes much faster than the powerful removal of software. If you have this difficulty, you may wish to try the above method.
