WinXP can't find a simple solution for the volume control program

1. Open the Control Panel

2. Click Add/Remove Programs

3. Click Add to remove the Windows component.

Type the following command line at a command prompt and press Enter at the end of each line, where the CD-ROM drive letter computer contains the Windows XP CD-ROM d CD-ROM or DVD-ROM Drive d drive letter, and the path and folder name of the system root key Windows system file (usually key C: Windows):

CD-ROM drive:

cd i386

Expand sndvol32.ex_ system root directory system32sndvol32.exe
