Win8 uses the family security function, which is a child account, to make children healthy online.

The network is nothing, which makes it difficult for parents to worry about their children online. Win8's children's account takes this into account, and the built-in “home security” feature allows parents to keep track of their children's online access. How does Win8 use home security features?

1. Go to the Windows8 & ldquo; Computer Settings & rdquo; interface, select the "Users" tab, find "Other users" at the bottom, click “ Add User & rdquo;, select Add & ldquo; Local Account”, then enter the name of the new user in the "Add User" interface, for example “Children”, the password can also be left blank.

2. The last step of adding a user will display the interface as shown:

Asking you " Is this a child account? Enable Family Safety to get a report on their computer usage. ”, check it.

3. To view the report of your child's use of the computer, go to “Control Panel\\User Accounts and Family Safety\\Home Security", as shown in the figure:

Click on the child's account “Children” enters the interface as shown below:

Here you can set whether to enable family security, whether to enable activity reporting, and set some usage restrictions, including screening of browsing websites, computer use Time, restrictions on Windows Store and games, and what apps are allowed on your computer.

Below the child account avatar icon on the right side is a "View Activity Report" link, click on it to see the details of your child's use of the computer. As shown in the figure:

In the children's account, you can filter the website, limit the computer usage time, etc. These settings have greatly improved the safety of children's Internet access, giving parents a reassurance. If your child is using Win8, forget to open the child account and use the home security feature.
