Modify the default port method of Windows Remote Desktop as follows:

1. At the beginning - run, or WIN + R, enter regedit to open the registry


2. Find HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\System\\CurrentControlSet\\Control\\Terminal Server\\Wds\\Repwd\\Tds\\Tcp

and HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SYSTEM\\CurrentControlSet\\Control\\TerminalServer\\WinStations\\RDP-tcp


Find the PortNumber key and double-click to modify it.

Key value: 0xd3d, which is hexadecimal, which is 3389 in decimal. Select the decimal method and change it to what you want. Set the port.


3. Then restart the computer and the remote desktop port modification will succeed.
