WordPad automatically loads the Windows "Character Map"

Windows provides users with a free "WordPad" tool for text editing, which can meet basic word processing needs. However, there is no special symbol support. When you need to use it, you can only use the character map again to use it. It is more troublesome. In fact, for users who often need special symbols, we can let the character map be started with the tablet.

First we need to find the program execution location of the WordPad and Character Map. Open the "Programs" menu, right-click "Wordpad" and "Character Map" in the "Accessories" and "System Tools" submenu under "Accessories" to open their properties window, in the "Shortcuts" tab The program names in the "Target" column are wordpad.exe and charmap.exe.

Now we open the Notepad tool and type the following in it:

start wordpad.exe

start charmap.exe

Open the File menu , select the "Save As" command, then set the "Save Type" to "All Files" and set the file name to 1.bat (the file name can be arbitrarily set, the extension must be bat).

After saving, enter the "Attachment" menu again to open the WordPad Properties window, and replace it with the address of the 1.bat file we modified in the "Target" column of the "Shortcut" tab. After such a setting, as soon as we start the WordPad, the character map will automatically open.
