Consistent with our previous announcement, Build 11082 did come from the rs1_release lab branch, and 11084 and 11085 were leaked online yesterday.
Microsoft explained this update in detail:
This release of Build (Build 11082) did not bring significant changes or new features. Now, our team is making product improvements based on feedback from the November update. This includes changes introduced as cumulative updates, and we will continue to roll out updates for those running Windows 10 November updates and phones running Windows 10 through Windows Update.
At this point we are working on some structural improvements for One Core, which is the shared core of Windows across devices. Essentially, OneCore is at the heart of Windows, and improvements to OneCore will make computers, tablets, mobile phones, the Internet of Things, Hololens and Xbox more efficient at running Windows.
At the same time, we are working on some code refactoring and other engineering to ensure that OneCore's structure is optimal. Our team will introduce new features and improvements for Windows 10 users in the new year.
It is reported that Build 11082 is the first Windows 10 Redstone Build to be pushed to internal participants. The next major update for Windows 10, also known as Redstone Update, will be rolled out in two phases next year.
