Continuum interface start menu new element

Computer shop news: Today Win10 preview version has been upgraded to Build 9879, Microsoft's new Continuum interface start menu also emerged.

Although it is only the start menu of the original version of Continuum, it still shows us some of the elements that Continuum will have in the future. However, this feature is off by default, because the current fluency is still very unsatisfactory and cannot be used normally.

Using the new start screen in Continuum mode:

1. First open the "Registry Editor", you can open the "Windows logo key + R" ”, and enter the "regedit" method to open;

2. Locate the following location in the registry: "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\Software\\Microsoft\\Windows \\CurrentVersion\\ImmersiveShell\\Launcher\\”, where &ldquo ;Launcher” sub-item may not exist, create it manually;

3. Create a new DWORD32 value on the right side, named "UseExperience" (not including quotes on both sides);

4. Change its key value to “1”;

5. Restart the Explorer by holding down the “Shift+Ctrl” key combination and clicking the right mouse button in the blank space of the start menu. To select "Exit Explorer", then use the “Shift+Ctrl+Esc” key combination to open “Task Manager” and select “File”——“Run And an input task & rdquo ;, & ldquo; explorer.exe & rdquo; way to restart Explorer.

Once the operation is complete, you will see a new start screen in Continuum mode. To get back to the normal start menu, change the registry key above back to <;0& rdquo;, then restart “resource manager”

Win10 Preview 9879's new start menu has changed a lot from the past, but the model is still in a very early stage, and various crash errors continue to believe that Microsoft will perfect and fix it in the future.
