Computer store news: Microsoft's latest release of Internet Explorer 11 (IE11) contains many new features, such as improved performance and security, faster page loading, support for new Web standards and WebGL etc. But do you know that IE11 also removes certain features?
Below, we will discuss with you all the features removed in IE11, as well as new features added. Gossip less, let's share the featured list:
Deleted features
1. Allow tab browsing
Users can go through <;Internet Options-> General -> tab” find this option. In previous versions of IE, users were able to turn tab browsing on or off by checking or unchecking "Allow multi-tab browsing". But IE11 removed this option.
2. Automatically restore page layout errors using compatibility view
IE10 users can view this by using the "Internet Options -> Advanced -> Browse" section Option. Check to use the "Compatibility View" in Internet Explorer to browse incompatible websites. Some older websites do not support new web standards and show different effects in new web browsers. Therefore, Internet Explorer introduces a compatibility view that can open incompatible websites correctly like the old IE. IE11 canceled this option.
3. Allow websites to use the search panel
IE10 users can view this option in the <quo;Internet Options-> Advanced-> Browse” section. Check to allow the site to use the search panel of the old IE. IE11 removed this option.
New Features
1. Load sites and content in the background to optimize performance
This is a new feature of IE11. Checking this option will allow the browser to preload the site content in the background and speed up the page loading.
Click on the following link for more information: Click to view
2. Re-use the window when running the shortcut (when the tab is closed)
Users can view this option via <Internet Options-> Advanced-> Browse”. This option does not make sense because Microsoft removed the ability to open or close tabs in IE11.
3. Using SPDY/3
This is another new option for IE11 that allows users to use or disable the SPDY/3 protocol in IE11. The SPDY/3 network protocol optimizes network request latency through compression, sequencing, and multiplexing. Users can view this option via “Internet Options-> Advanced->HTTP Settings”.
4. Enable 64-bit processes in enhanced protection mode
This is a new and interesting option for IE11. This option enables or disables the 64-bit process of Internet Explorer in Enhanced Protected Mode.
IE11 disables this option by default. Users can enable this feature via “Internet Options->Advanced->Security".
Enabling this option for better security; disable this option for better compatibility.
