XP retired, Win8 is slightly more expensive, it is better to use Ubuntu

Computer store news: The Korean government admits that some local laws are somewhat outdated, but the next move by the Korean government is somewhat unexpected.

The South Korean government plans to phase out Windows XP as Microsoft will stop supporting Windows XP after April 8 next year. In addition, Windows 7 and Windows 8 are slightly more expensive, so the Korean government intends to switch to free Ubuntu.

Korean IT experts admit that Ubuntu is different from Windows and can be difficult for some users to use, but they think the Ubuntu open source license is a gift from God.

Business Korea quoted local officials as saying, "Ubuntu supports programs that may not have more Windows, but Ubuntu is easy to install and has evolved into a very complex program."

But considering that online shopping in Korea can only pass IE, the Korean government's plan to use Ubuntu will be inconvenient for users, and users can only shop through retail stores. Although the Korean government is amending these laws, it has not yet introduced new laws.
