However, a development team based in Moscow recently raised $100,000 to develop a new Windows smartwatch product under the product code "Gnomio".

According to reports, the Gnomio smart watch will run the Microsoft Windows Embedded Compact 7 embedded operating system in the future. During operation, users need to first access and download the applications in the Windows Phone Store through the Windows Phone 8 smartphone, and then transfer these programs to Gnomio via Bluetooth for installation.

In addition, Gnomio's official website page shows that the product has a 1.54-inch touchscreen with a resolution of 240*240, and a 270MHz ARM processor with 64MB of RAM and 8GB of storage.

Gnomio's development team said that they started working on the product as early as March 2012. All the hardware designs have been completed, but the development of related software is still going on. , then Gnomio will be officially launched in April 2013.
