It is reported that Microsoft's next-generation Surface will be divided into three models, of which Surface RT 2 screen size is 8.6 inches, using Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. The Surface Pro is available in 11.6-inch and 14.6-inch models, with the 11.6-inch model using AMD's low-power Temash processor and the 14.6-inch version with Intel's next-generation Haswell processor. The Surface RT 2's smaller 8.6-inch display will make the device compete with the mainstream 7-inch Android tablet and the Apple iPad mini, and the Qualcomm processor will have better performance than the Tegra 3. The 14.6-inch Surface Pro not only uses the lower-power Haswell processor, but the screen size will also position it closer to the ultrabook.
