How to solve the problem of ping nowhere

Many times you need to use the ping command, but in the LAN, sometimes the ping command does not work, how to solve it?

1. Enable the guest account.

“Control Panel - User Accounts - Enable Guest Accounts &

2. Install the NetBEUI protocol.

View “Network Neighborhood> Properties ——View“Local Connection"Properties——Click“Install"——View“Agreement”—— See if the NetBEUI protocol exists. If it does not exist, install this protocol. If it does not exist, it indicates that the protocol has been installed. In the default case of winxp system, the protocol is already installed.

3, check whether the local security policy settings have disabled the GUEST account.

Control Panel ——Administrative Tools——Local Security Policy——User Rights Assignment——View & ldquo;Reject Access to This Computer from Network” Item—&mdash Look to see if there is a GUEST account, delete it if you have one.

4. Set up a shared folder.

If you do not set up a shared folder, other machines in the network cannot access your machine. There are three ways to set up folder sharing. The first one is:  Tools--Folder Options--View--Use Simple Folder Sharing”. After this setting, other users can only access your shared files or folders as a guest user. The second method is: "Control Panel - Management Tools - Computer Management", in the "Computer Management" dialog box, click & ldquo; folder sharing - sharing & rdquo;, then right click Select “New Share” The third method is the easiest. Right click on the folder you want to share and set the share via the "Share & Security" option.

5. Establish a working group.

Right click on “My Computer" on the Windows desktop, select “Properties", then click on the "computername" tab to see if you are present in the tab. The name of the LAN workgroup, such as “workgroup” etc. Then click the “Network ID” button to start the “Network Identification Wizard”: Click “Next” to select “This unit is part of the commercial network and use it to connect to other working computers”. Click "“Next" to select "The company uses a network without a domain"; click the "Next" button and enter the name of your LAN's workgroup. Here I recommend everyone to use "BROADVIEW&rdquo" ;, click the “Next” button again, and finally click the “Complete" button to complete the setup.

After restarting the computer, the computers on the LAN can be accessed.

6. View “Computer Management  Whether to enable the guest account.

Control Panel ——Computer Management——Local Users and Groups——User——Enable Guest Account. It will be fine after the machine is restarted.

If you want to improve the speed of accessing other people's machines, you can also do some related operations: control panel — — management tools & mdash; — service & mdash; & mdash; Task Scheduler & mdash; & mdash; attributes & mdash; — The startup method is changed to manual, so that's it.

7. User rights assignment.

“Control Panel--Administrative Tools--Local Security Policy" In the "Local Security Policy" dialog box, select “Local Policies--User Rights Assignment”, on the right In the options, click “Access this computer from the network” and “Reject access to this computer from the network”. These two options are set.

<;Access this computer from the network" option needs to add the guest user and everyone into it; & ldquo; refuse to access this computer from the network & rdquo; need to delete all users denied, default In the case of the guest is denied access.

All the steps in the above method are not necessary to set up the LAN, because some steps are already set by default. However, as long as your LAN is inaccessible, the above settings will definitely ensure the smooth flow of the LAN.

You can also use the ping command in the LAN, but you don't know how to solve it before. You can easily solve it with the above method.
