Tips for making DVDs faster?

Generally speaking, the current mainstream 16X DVD burner burns 16GB discs with 4.3GB of data for about 7 minutes, while burning 8X discs usually takes less than 10 minutes, while 4X discs have a recording time of 15 minutes. If your DVD burner burn time is not much different from the above time, then your DVD burner is normal. If there is a big difference between the above and the above burn time, please see the following article. If the above work is done, and the DVD burning speed is different from the time I mentioned, then we need to look at the mode in which your DVD burner is working under XP. Below we will NEC's 3550 is an example. 1. Select "IDE ATA/ATAPI" controller in the system properties window of the control panel, open the controller list, select the IDE channel where the DVD burner is located (can be found by clicking the DVD burner model here). 2. In the IDE channel properties window, select the "Advanced Settings" tab, then you can clearly know the mode in which your DVD burner works (ND-3550 works in Ultra DMA Mode 2 mode, which is DMA33). Mode, (DMA display mode DMA is 2, DMA66 is 4, DMA100 is 5, DMA133 is 6)).
