Win2003 can not install MDAC2.8 SP1 solution

The method is as follows (specific analysis and later):

Right-click the MDAC installation file (Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) v2.8 SP1 English version.EXE):

Attribute-->Compatibility-->Run this program in compatibility mode (check)-->Select winnt4.0(service pack 5)-->OK

Analysis (pure personal opinion, please advise):

This installer may not support win2003, so it cannot be installed.

But the win2003 kernel is winNT, and the installer is Microsoft COPYRIGHTS, so the program is set to run normally.

After installation, set the ODBC data source successfully, as shown in Figure 1.
