Clear Windows Server 2008 sharing barriers

Many people think that accessing shared resources is very simple. Just find the shared resources first, then double-click the shared target, and then log in to access. In fact, every step of the operation may be limited by the Windows system; this is not, when we try to access the shared resources in the Windows Server 2008 system, the system has set a barrier to each of these links, we must The correct setting of the right medicine can clear the obstacles and let the shared access all the way to the green light.

1. Clear the invisible obstacles

It is reasonable to say that from the ordinary computer in the LAN, you can see the target shared resources by opening the Network Neighborhood window; however, the Windows Server 2008 system The shared resources are not so easy to see. Why is this? Originally, the Windows Server 2008 system enforced security by default. It controls the normal client to view and save it in the new network discovery function. The target shares resources. Therefore, when we are unable to view the target shared resources in the Windows Server 2008 system from the Network Neighborhood window, it is necessary to check whether the network discovery function of the corresponding system is normally enabled. The following is the specific viewing step:

First open the "Start" menu of the Windows Server 2008 system, select the "Settings" /"Control Panel" command, and then double-click the "Network and Sharing Center" icon in the subsequent Control Panel window to open the network of the corresponding system and Sharing Center Management Window;

Secondly, from the "Sharing and Discovery" list in the management window, find the "Network Discovery" option. Then expand the option setting area (as shown in Figure 1), check whether the "Enable Network Discovery" option is selected in the default state. If it is found that the option is not selected, it means that the Windows Server 2008 system disables the LAN. Any user can view and access all the shared resources on the network, so naturally we can't see them. Standard shared resources;

At this point, we can select the "Turn on network discovery" option, then click the "Apply" button to save the good operation of the set. Of course, here we must ensure that the "file sharing" option is also selected, otherwise Windows Server 2008 system can not publish the target resource sharing to the LAN network.

Of course, one thing that needs to be noted by all friends is that the ordinary computers in the LAN must be in the same working subnet as the host where the Windows Server 2008 system is located, and they must use the same workgroup name. If this condition is not guaranteed, then we may not see the "picture" of the host where the target shared resources are located, let alone visit it.
