ADSL sharing method in Windows 2000 operating system

2. Click on the "Properties" option to open the "Network and Dial-up Connections" window, right-click on "Local Area Connection" and select the "Properties" option.

3. Click the "Properties" option to open the "Local Area Connection Properties" window, select "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)" in the component window, and select the "Properties" option.

4. Click the "Properties" option, open the "Internet Protocol (TCP /IP) Properties" window, fill in the IP address of the internal LAN and the subnet mask, click "OK" (fill in the DNS server The address is provided in advance by the local ISP).

5. In the "Network and Dial-up Connections" window, right-click the "New Connection" icon and select "New Connection (N)...".

6. Click "New Connection (N)..." to open the "Network Connection Wizard" window.

7. Click "Next" and select "Connect to a private network via the Internet" in "Select as follows".

8. Click "Next" and fill in the address field to connect to the server's address (the IP address you filled in is provided by your local ISP).

9. Click “Next”. If you are on a stand-alone Internet, select “I just use this connection myself”, and on the LAN, select “All users use this connection”.

10. Click "Next" and type the connection name in the space to name the connection, and finally click "Finish".
