Cleverly set the Vista taskbar and start menu properties

This article describes how to cleverly set the taskbar and start menu properties in Vista, so that Vista no longer displays annoying tips.
Many friends have encountered this problem when using Vista. After opening the start menu, they often prompt "Cannot display some start menu items. Try to use a higher screen resolution to display all items."
Each computer has a suitable screen resolution, we can't change the resolution as it says, but this prompt is always very troublesome. We can change the height of the start menu by following the steps below and remove this prompt.
After opening the "Taskbar and Start Menu Properties" dialog box, first select "Store and display the list of recently opened programs" and select the "Customize" button. Then the "number of recently opened programs to be displayed" is appropriately reduced by one or two until the annoying prompt no longer appears. If you do not want to display the recently opened program, you can remove the checkmark before the "Save and display the list of recently opened programs" in the privacy options.
